Face Mask – Apple and Egg Yolk Face Mask
Hello girls 🙂
Today, for the very first time, I am going to share my home made face mask with all you pretty girls.
We all want healthy and glowing skin, all our lives. And to do that we don’t have to do a lot for it. Just need to look after our skin, pamper it well. This is the face mask that helps me nourishing my skin I am using for months. It really works on my skin. It gives me a great result and I hope it will do the same in your case. 🙂
You Would Need The Following Ingredients
- ½ apple
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 table spoon honey
- 1 table spoon lime juice
Apple is just not a healthy fruit but it also enhances the beauty. It has been said by someone ages before that “an apple a day keeps a doctor away”. I guess on using apple as a face mask will also keep the skin doctor away. 😛
Talking about egg yolk, it contains protein which keeps skin healthy and it also contains lutein which helps to make skin elastic and hydrated.
So without wasting time let’s move on to face pack that I use to get healthy skin.
Step 1: Mash the apple. I never grind my face pack ingredients in a mixer instead I love using imam dasta for this. Imam dasta is made of marble and it is really hygienic – when I say hygienic I mean it, to use as it is nonporous.
Step 2: Now add 1 egg yolk, 1 table spoon honey (honey will help to moisturize your skin) and 1 table spoon lime juice (lime juice rejuvenates the skin). Mix it properly and make a paste.
Step 3: Apply this paste all over your face and wait for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Using this homemade face mask constantly will make your skin healthy and glowing. I am using it for a month now and I can really see the benefits of this face pack.
Keep in Mind
- Store the left over face mask in a refrigerator. I store it only for 1 week. And not more than that. Then I again make the fresh one. I love using this face mask.
- If your skin is allergic to any of the above ingredients then please do not use it anywhere on the skin. Mine is comfortable with it, and so I’m using!
Try this and let me know your experience. 🙂
