Biotique Revitalizing Anti Fatigue Seaweed under Eye Gel Review

Biotique Revitalizing Anti Fatigue Seaweed under Eye Gel Review

Hey girls

Its summers here and the days are so lazy, I don’t feel like doing anything. But, there is one thing which doesn’t catches my laziness – Writing articles for you all on my lovely blog – AdorableShe.

Its 2PM, everyone in my home is taking their power nap and, I am here for you all with a new a review of an eye gel that I am using currently. It’s Biotique Revitalizing Anti Fatigue Seaweed under Eye Gel, Whoa! Such a huge name it is. 😛 Using an eye cream or gel is as important as having popcorn while watching movies lolz! Couldn’t find any better example for it. 😀 It’s not like that if you are having dark circle or puffiness then only you will use eye cream, you have to use it in any case as the under eye area is very delicate and can develop fine lines very easily. So it becomes very important to keep that area hydrated and moisturized.

As you can see it’s a small green colored tub. I feel like crying now, why the hell do they pack these eye products in a tub and that too in such a tiny one which looks absolutely cute, but taking out product from it is a pain and so unhygienic too.

My Thoughts and Experience:

Biotique also have the cream version of this eye product, but I picked the gel one because in summers I prefer using gel and in winters I love to use eye creams. I have used both Aroma Magic under Eye gel and cream before using this and they did their job pretty well so I was having lot of expectation from this Biotique Anti Fatigue Eye Gel. This gel is transparent and it is very light in consistency, it has a very mild smell similar to the smell of Vicks which I think is weird, it easily spreads around eye area and on massaging it a little bit with my ring finger (always use ring finger while applying anything around your eyes)  it get absorbed but not  completely so I have to leave it like that and let it get absorbed by itself, It gave me cooling sensation which my eyes loved, it was very relaxing but this feeling last only until the gel get absorbed completely. When the gel got absorbed completely my eye area felt little bit stretchy so I have to apply my moisturizer on top of it, annoying I know :(. So this was all I go through every time I apply this gel).

Now it’s been 2 weeks that I am using this Biotique under eye gel, I love the cooling sensation it provides but I hate that I have to apply little bit of moisturizer on top of it every time. I don’t suffer from puffiness but after using this gel at night in the morning when I wake up my eye area looked fresher and toned up. It has does nothing to reduce the slight pigmentation around my eyes so I don’t think so that it will help to reduce the heavy dark circle.

Overall it’s a simple eye gel, nothing much special about it.

Well that’s my brother’s hand holding the tub 😛

Good things:

  1. Easily available.
  2. Gives cooling sensation which relaxes the eyes.
  3. Tones the eye area.
  4. Ingredient list mentioned.

Bad thing:

  1. Does not pay of the price.
  2. Smells like Vicks. 😛
  3. Gives stretchy feeling after getting absorbed completely.
  4. Does nothing for the dark circles.
  5. Unhygienic tub packaging.

My Rating:

Will I recommend?

No, you can use any eye gel with lesser price to get the effects provided by this one so why to spend 199 bucks for such an average under eye gel.
