Lakme Absolute Shine Line Eye Liner in Shade Black- Review and Swatches
Today I am going to review Lakme Absolute Shine Eye Liner in Shade Black. I prefer gel eye liner more than the liquid one as for me applying gel liner is easier as compared to the liquid one. But when I saw this liner in Lakme counter I was ready to give it a shot as it has been ages I haven’t tried any liquid liner. So here I come with a review after using this liner for almost 3months.

Packaging of the liquid liner is really important, it should have pointed brush with nicely packed bristles and a perfect handle length. Fortunately this liner has it all. The brush of this liner is really thin and pointed with nicely packed bristles which helps to get a clean thin line. The length of the handle is perfect, not too short and not too long. The liner comes in a small cylindrical shape tube which fits in hand bag easily, one more yay!
My Experience with Lakme Absolute Shine Line Eye Liner in Shade Black
Most of us want our liner to be blackest black and yes I want the same, but this liner is not jet black. It’s a shade between dark grey and black which looks absolutely classy on eyes, I love when it dries to matte finish and beautifies my eyes. The brush is pointed and the bristles are packed very nicely which helps to get thin even line without messing it up. Liner dries out really quickly but when it dries out it gives a slight stretchy feeling to my eye area where I have applied this liner which is a bit annoying, this stretchy feeling goes after sometime.
The Lakme Absolute Shine Eye Liner stays on my eyes for about 3-4 hours after which the line starts showing some cracks in it. The liner is not completely waterproof but still it takes time to get washed off with water. Removing this liner is not a pain, it can be removed easily with any gentle cleanser.
