NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Shade Glow & Red Cheeks Review
Do you have dry skin like me?
If yes then crèam blushes are your best friend. They work so well with dry skin. They do not exaggerate the dry patches and make the skin look dewy. So after reviewing the Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush I have come up with my another favorite blush which are the NYX Rouge Cream Blushes in shade Glow and Red Cheeks
Price: Rs. 650 for 3.5gms.
Shelf life: 3 years.
About NYX Cream Blush – Red Cheeks:
More delicious than peaches and cream? We like to think so. Our velvety smooth mineral Rouge Cream Blush offers a sheer wash of radiant color. The glorious payoff is dewy, sultry and long-lasting. Available in cream blush 12 shades.
My Experience – NYX Rouge Cream Blush Review
The blush comes in a black color compact and the front of the packaging is transparent so you can easily make out the color. The packaging looks quite flimsy and is prone to breaking if dropped but still I am having these blushes with me from past one year and have traveled with them a lot but never faced any problem.
Texture and application.
They are crème blushes so the texture is definitely very creamy and buttery. They blend really well on skin and does not cause any patchiness. I use my fingers or a stippling brush for the application. I always set it with my loose powder, by doing so the staying power of the blush gets increased. These blushes need some blending so it is better if you use a stippling brush to blend it out, the stippling brush makes the blending lot easier when compared to fingers.
Pigmentation and Shades:
Girls try to go easy with these blushes as they are highly pigmented. The color payoff is amazing. Just two dots on cheeks and after blending it gives a beautiful flush of color. I bought two shades from this range.
Glow is a very wearable natural pink shade with a hint of coral in it. It is a perfect matt blush without any shimmers or glitters. Perfect for office wear but you can also flaunt this blush in any night party as well.
- Red Cheeks
Anybody who crave for those doll-like red cheeks, this blush is for you. I love it too bits. The shade looks pinkish red on the pan and when applied on cheeks gives a healthy matt reddish finish. Be careful with this blush as it is highly pigmented and it is possible that you might turn into a clown at the end. Just one dab of finger or brush in the blush and you are good to go.
The blushes stay on my cheeks for 5 to 6 hours which is amazing. When these blushes start fading they do not go patchy. If it is summer and you are sweating a lot then the staying power of these blushes decreases but again you can set it with powder or with any of your powder blushes of the same shade.
