Patanjali Kesh Kanti Anti Dandruff Hair Cleanser [updated 09-11-2016]

Today I will be reviewing the second product from Patanjali. I must say that I am falling in love with this brand as most of its products are working great on me. A few days back I have reviewed the Patanjali Aloe Vera gel which proved to be the best aloe vera gel up till now.

So today I have come up with the review of anti-dandruff shampoo by Patanjali. I face dandruff problem all the time, it doesn’t matter it is winters or summers, I get dandruff easily but this problem increases during winters a lot. So I have to use anti-dandruff shampoo once a week. From past two years, I was using Matrix Anti dandruff shampoo and it was working great for me but it is loaded with all harmful chemicals. So, this year I switched to Patanjali Anti-Dandruff Hair Cleanser which contains all natural ingredients.

What Patanjali Kesh Anti-Dandruff Hair Cleanser Claims:

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Anti-Dandruff shampoo claims to prevent hair fall, remove dandruff, dirt from hair and scalp.

My experience with Patanjali Kesh Anti Dandruff Hair Cleanser:

The shampoo comes in a white coloured opaque bottle with a flip open cap. The cap fits tightly every time which makes the bottle travel-friendly. The shampoo is of light green colour and the consistency is very thick so it is good to first dilute the shampoo with a little bit of water. Very less amount of the shampoo is needed and it cleanses the hair and the scalp very well in just one wash but whenever I oil my hair it takes two washes to clean the hair and scalp completely.

Patanjali Kesh Anti-Dandruff Hair Cleanser has an Ayurvedic kind of fragrance which disappears as soon the shampoo is washed off. It adds a beautiful shine to my dull looking hair, my hair feels very soft and smooth after using this shampoo. I even got the compliment from my cousin that which shampoo you have used, your hair is looking less frizzy today. So, this shampoo definitely takes care of the frizzy hair.  It claims to contain natural conditioner which is true I think because I can skip the conditioner with this shampoo. It is always good to use conditioner  for some extra shine but with this shampoo skipping conditioner does not make a huge difference, my hair still feels soft and manageable and I did not notice any hair fall after using this shampoo.

Now the main agenda is that does this shampoo full fills the claim of being an anti-dandruff shampoo, so yeah! It does but not completely. It cleanses the scalp but only reduces the flakiness and does not cure it complete.  I can still notice dandruff after using this shampoo, so if you are suffering from a severe dandruff issues then this one is not for you.

    • Yeah and the best part is that all ingredients are natural 🙂

  • I am using this currently and i agree it just reduces flakiness and does not cure dandruff but yes it reduced hairfall which was caused by dandruff for me 🙂

    • Yeah!I also did not notice any hair fall with this shampoo.

  • Thank’s brother.
I didn’t say that you should not use conditioner after using this shampoo; just saying that it will be ok if you skip it..no harm in that.
Currently, I am using the conditioner that you are talking about. Will review it soon 🙂

  • I would.love trying it as I too face dandruff problem all round the year. Great review and pics 🙂

    • Thanks, dear, but if you have heavy dandruff problem that may not work for you.
